Bubble Bobble turned up in 1986 as an arcade game and was converted to the C64 by Firebird in 1987.

Your mission
You are a dinosaur that possesses the ability to blow bubbles on the enemies to eliminate them. To continue to the next stage you must finish off all enemies.
Stage 4
There are many surprises in this game. You can pick up items along the stages which for example warp you 10 stages or that give you the ability to shoot the enemies.
Pick up the giant diamond and cash in the bonus
The game has 100 stages and each of them require its strategy and to finish all of them you need to practice a lot and to have lots of patience.

Overall impression
The graphics are simple, like those of the original and work well with the game. The music is also lose to the original. But it's not the graphics nor the music that make Bubble Bobble such a great game. It's its ability to make the player go on playing time after another, the game is truly entertaining - just like is the case with for example c64 y c64.
