The emulators

In order to play the old C64 games you need a real C64, or an emulator. The fast processors in today's computer makes it possible to do imitate the behaviour of the hardware of the old systems. Thanks to the skills of some great programmers, we now have several emulators for the C64.

For most nostalgics the main problem is that they have thrown away their old computer, or it has broke. And for those lucky people who have got hold of one, the problems with connecting the cables to the TV set etc. Thanks to the emulators it is now possible to again play the old favourites.

The in my opinion best C64 emulator is CCS64, which is programmed by Håkan Sundell.

The games

Thousands of games were created for the C64 - among them some true classics. Most of the games can be found and downloaded from the Internet and be used in an emulator. There is also loads of C64 music to download.
