S²E² Supertortuga Solid Edge Extension Do you frequently re-use 3D assemblies from older projects? If the answer is yes, you are probably interested in S²E² (Supertortuga Solid Edge Extension).
Supertortuga Solid Edge Extension (S²E²) is an extension to Solid Edge. S²E² is a powerful tool to do automatic batchupdates of document, which otherwise is a time consuming work that must be made document by documentt. Updates which can take hours can now be made in a fraction of the time, and you can conecentrate of the design work instead of wasting time maintaining the properties. S²E² gives you limitless possibilities to make mass updates massuppdateringar of document properties in 3D models with a limitless number of details. Among the tools to update the properties are included - the possibillity to open assemblies of any size and change the properties of any number of parts
- the possibillity to open folder with any number of parts and change the properties of any number of parts
- search and replace (with selectable case sensitivity)
- selection of which fields that should be updated, and selction mask
- multilanguage handling (currently the program can be executed in English, Spanish or Swedish)
- global search/replace base on a definition file
- print the currently loaded parts
- good compatibility (works with version 11 and onwards, and with any language)
The extension retrieves all properties from the assembly currently loaded in Solid Edge or from the selected folder. The flexible program continuously indicate graphically what changes will be made in the parts. Download and use S²E²The limited version (freeware) of S²E² is free and may be used by private persons as well as companies. The program is provided without any charge, but is limited to load a maximum of 20 parts at a time. The program is used on your own risk, and I cannot be held responsable for any problems that migh occur when using the program. Custom made versions of S²E²S²E² can be tailormade to update customised properties, or make any kind of updates of the properties (for example, to establish relations to different part properties, such as relating part dimension to BOMs (Bill of Material).
